Alicia Harris joined MPB in 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for overseeing all financial activities as well as managing the agency’s budget in accordance to state laws and regulations.

With 17 years of state accounting experience, her career has included positions in Accounting, Budget and Finance and Chief Financial Officer. She has successfully completed the Mississippi State Personnel Board’s Certified Public Manager Program as well as the Human Resources Certification Program. She is a Certified Mississippi Purchasing Agent and a graduate of the John C. Stennis Institute of Government and Community Development’s State Executive Development Institute.

Alicia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University. She is a native of Brandon and currently resides there with her family.
