Martin Amis

The new album from Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, Years (Bloodshot Records), dropped April 6. It highlights Shook’s sly lyrical wit and her band’s sound—classic country with a contemporary earthy tension.

Larkin Poe
Rebecca and Megan Lovell—singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist sisters—perform their own brand of roots rock as Larkin Poe.
Originally from Atlanta and currently living in Nashville, they are descendants of tortured artist and creative genius Edgar Allan Poe.
Their 2014 release, KIN, quickly established their sound: Haim-esque vocal harmonies with thick, gnarly guitar riffs. Their most recent album, Peach, finds the duo exploring their blues roots via covers of Son House, Robert Johnson and Lead Belly.
