JACKSON, Miss. – Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) will provide full coverage of Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves’ State of the State address on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, at 5 p.m.
MPB will broadcast the entire program on MPB television and MPB Think Radio, and livestream on mpboline.org, Governor Tate Reeve’s Facebook page, and the @mpbonline YouTube channel.
For media outlets: MPB will make available clean video (with MPB Network bug) of the Governor’s State of the State address including the Democratic response. Audio pool feeds will also be available for news media connection onsite on the south side of the State Capitol near Mississippi Street.
Media must arrive by 4 p.m. to establish connections for any video and/or audio feeds. The feed will be HD-SDI 1080i with embedded audio over BNC connections. Audio feed will be a mono audio mix on an XLR connection. Media should bring devices that can accept this feed or convert to the outlets’ needs.
Please note that MPB may include audio commentary (before gavel in only) of the address on the pool feed.
