In April, you will notice something different about Mississippi Public Broadcasting’s website. MPBonline.org will debut a new look with all the same relevant content, engaging programming, music, podcasts and news stories you love.
MPB’s Education Services Department will have a new web address – education.mpbonline.org – starting April 1. MPB’s main website will update April 15, but the web address will remain the same – mpbonline.org.
MPB Education Services’ new look is designed to engage parents, students from PreK-post secondary and educators. The news web page will include sections about myriad initiatives such as Ready to Learn, Parents Are Teachers Too (PATT), Teacher Workshops, Book of the Month, MPB Kids Club, Early Childhood News, Workforce Development, Digital and Distance Learning, Ed Said and more. You’ll also find engaging videos, information on events and see photo galleries from our many programs.
As a PBS member station, MPB uses a platform provided by PBS to host our website. As the platform updates, our website must update as well. Several stations across the nation have debuted a new look of their respective web pages in recent months. Now, it’s MPB’s turn.
With this new digital experience, MPB will share more photos, videos and resources in a more pleasing, easy-to-read format for all devices. Months of tweaking have gone into this project. We hope viewers will find the content engaging and informative.
