MPB Airs Gov. Tate Reeves’ Inauguration on Jan. 9 

MPB will air the event live and make video and audio pool feeds available to media outlets

JACKSON, Miss. – Mississippi Public Broadcasting will air live the Jan. 9 inauguration of Gov. Tate Reeves as he begins his second term. 

The live feed from the state Capitol will begin at 10:30 a.m. MPB will broadcast the entire program on MPB television, radio, the MPB website and its Facebook and YouTube channels.

For media outlets

MPB will make available clean video and audio pool feeds for the news media to connect to onsite at the west side of the state Capitol on N. West Street. 

Media must arrive by 9:15 a.m. to establish connections for any video feeds. The feed will be HD-SDI 1080i with embedded audio over BNC connections. Media should bring devices that can accept this feed or convert to the outlets’ needs. Analog audio only connections will also be available truckside.
