4 suspects are making initial appearances in court this morning after a weekend shooting that left 2 Hattiesburg police officers dead. MPB's Ezra Wall reports.

Marvin Banks and Joanie Calloway face capital murder charges in the shooting death of two Hattiesburg Police officers.  Curtis Banks and Cornelius Clark also face charges related to the attack.  It all started when a routine traffic stop turned violent Saturday night.  Warren Strain, a spokesperson for the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, says more arrests could come.
"We're in the very early stages of the investigation, so to rule anything out at this point would be premature. We'll have to see how the investigation develops on out," said Strain.
Hattiesburg Mayor Johnnie DuPree says the community stands in support of the families of the slain officers.
"We want to honor them as family members of our community. And we'll pull together, and make sure that the family knows that we love them. We want to ask everybody to pray for this family. We want everybody to pray for the police officers, not only here, but around the United States," said DuPree.
A memorial vigil will be held later today for officers Benjamin Deen and Liquori Tate.  It will be this afternoon at 1 o'clock, at the Lake Terace Convention Center in Hattiesburg.
