Broadband access has been a key policy priority for Senator Roger Wicker. Over the last few years, the Republican has made many stops in the state promoting the benefits of stronger and more accessible Internet - especially in rural communities. And yesterday, he was back in Jackson to meet with state and national stakeholders about the latest investment in broadband infrastructure - a grant that will help connect approximately 2,200 homes on Mississippi’s Choctaw Reservation.
During his visit, Senator Wicker also addressed other matters of national and local interest - including his decision to vote against the Inflation Reduction Act.
