During the afternoon of April 28, 2014, an outbreak of about 20 tornadoes struck Mississippi leaving behind death and destruction. As the storms moved through the state, the radio and news staff of MPB Radio provided coverage of the crisis by interrupting programming with the latest weather warnings and conditions.
