MPB News received a 2016 NABJ (National Association of Black Journalists) radio feature award for a story produced by reporter Desare Frazier.
Frazier told the story of activists of the civil rights movement reflecting on the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. The award was presented at the NABJ Salute to Excellence awards gala during their annual convention held in Washington, D.C. in August.
