Rosenthal visits kitchens on and off the well-worn gastronomic path, leading viewers from one of the least expensive Michelin-starred restaurants in Asia to a Los Angeles bakery training former gang members.
In the series premiere, Phil in his search for the most delicious ramen, the sushi of his dreams and anything else that makes Tokyo a global culinary capital. He serves New York egg creams to his guests and dials down with TV host and comedian David Spector.
