Tougaloo history professor, Daphne Chamberlain and Civil Rights Activist Flonzie Brown Wright join us to commemorate the 50 year anniversary of James Meredith’s one-man “Walk against Fear” from Memphis to Jackson. Meredith was wounded by a shotgun blast during the march which inspired thousands of others to join in, making it the largest civil rights march in the state’s history.
