Some of the highlights of the upcoming season include:
- a trip to Horn Island along the Mississippi Gulf coast to evaluate the damage done by Hurricane Katrina
- a tour of Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company in Kiln
- we travel up to Merigold in the delta to pay tribute to Johnny Dorr the first Ag-aviation flight instructor in the United States
- we head to downtown Jackson for Mal’s St. Paddy’s Parade and meet the head Sweet Potato Queen Jill Conner Browne
- meet Hattiesburg resident Jack Lucas; the youngest Marine to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor
- we travel to Starkville and look at the revitalization of a neighborhood now known as the “Cotton District”
- and we make our way south to Liberty and visit a couple that specializes in making hand-chopped bowls.
