Feb. 9: Cancer Prevention

Want to a be a part of the search for cancer's cause? The American Cancer Society (ACS) is starting another Cancer Prevention Study soon, and they are looking for participants age 30-65 who have never had cancer. The study will last over many years, and it will examine which lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors may cause or prevent cancer. Beth Dickson, Health Systems Director for the ACS, joins Karen Brown to discuss the new study.

After a temporary delay, Edwin Hart Turner was executed yesterday at the Mississippi State Penitentiary.

Also, Business Break discusses the difference between capital gains and income taxes, and the Oxford Film Festival comes to northern Mississippi this weekend.
