1 - For generations the Neshoba County Fair has been a must-stop for anyone hoping to be taken seriously in Mississippi politics. Yesterday Attorney General Jim Hood, a democrat, and republican Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves took the stage.

2 - "Can I Kick It" is a dropout prevention initiative here at Mississippi Public Broadcasting. Over the last month, we've has high school students in our facilities producing videos aimed at keeping their fellow classmates in school. A few of them spoke to MPB's Ezra Wall about what they're learning.

3 - Author Jeff Crook is out with his latest novel, a mystery with a paranormal slant. He tells MPB's Ezra Wall about "The Sleeping and the Dead."
