Over 10 percent of Mississippians are still out-of-work.  But Governor Haley Barbour says we still might be headed in a better direction than some parts of the country. He explains to MPB's Rhonda Miller.

Also, After 9 years, an often-debated cost of around a Trillion dollars, and over 44-hundred American deaths, the war in Iraq is over. Joining us with analysis on the end of the Iraq war, and what it means for Mississippi, is Dr. Susan Allen. She's Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Mississippi. Allen tells MPB's Ezra Wall that the long-term success of the war is still uncertain.
