Football Fan Uproar in Oxford

Air date 09/21/11

The University of Mississippi has had a tense relationship with some of their fan-base for a while now. Starting with the dismissal of the iconic "Colonel Reb" mascot, followed by the adoption of a new mascot, a Black Bear. Then, there's the on-field performance. The Ole Miss Rebels were one-and-one heading into last week's game, which they lost to perennial underdog Vanderbilt. The next day, a group of fans ran a full-page add in the newspaper attributing the failure to the University's administration.  Joining us to discuss all the uproar in Oxford is Hugh Kellenberger, the Ole Miss beat writer for the Clarion Ledger.
