A federal judge in Jackson could issue a ruling today about the constitutionality of an executive order issued by Governor Phil Bryant. MPB's Jeffrey Hess reports the governor has ordered the state's largest insurance company to bring 10 hospitals back into its network.

Then, more than 600 Mississippians die every year from the flu. That's why the Mississippi State Department of Health is reminding residents to get the flu vaccine now. According to the Department of Health, Children under five, adults over 50, pregnant women and the chronically ill are the most susceptible to complications brought on by influenza.   However, the shot is recommended for anyone older than 6 months. State Health Officer Dr. Mary Currier got her shot Friday in front of a gathered throng of reporters. Afterward, she talked about who should be getting the shot.
