Mississippi’s Hope Enterprise Corporation is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build 41 new homes on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Thousands of homes have been built on the coast in the nine years since Hurricane Katrina, but Habitat for Humanity Gulf Coast chief executive Chris Monforton says the coast continues to have housing needs, especially when it comes to affordability.
 
Segment 2:
 
Students from Mississippi State University are competing in the last phase of the EcoCar Two project.  Teams from several universities across the country are competing by rebuilding a 2013 Chevy Malibu with new, environmentally-friendly add-ons. Stephen Hayden has just finished his sophomore year at State.  He tells us more about the contest.
 
Segment 3:
 
The University of Mississippi baseball team is headed to the College World Series for the first time since 1972.  Last weekend Ole Miss won the Super Regional part of the tournament in Lafayette, Louisiana. Jay White from MPB's Season Pass talked about the Rebels' success with MPB's Ezra Wall.
