Wed, Jan. 30: Stormy Weather

1 - A large storm system packing high winds and rain has caused some building damaged and knocked down trees and power lines in North Mississippi. No injuries have been reported.
In Pontotoc County, officials say five homes suffered some damage from high winds. In Tupelo, a shopping area was damaged with police reporting that one furniture business lost its front window.
In the Delta, reports of roof damage were reported in several areas including Cleveland, Leland and Grenada.  Joining us with more on this dangerous weather system is Meteorologist David Maddux.
2 - The Mississippi House has approved a bill to exempt concealed carry permits information from public records requests. The bill passed by a vote of 101-18. Republican Representative Mark Baker chairs the House Judiciary A committee. He spoke to MPB's Jeffrey Hess about the bill.
3 - Erin Merryn was the victim of sexual abuse as a young child. As an adult, she has channeled the pain of that experience into lobbying state legislatures for sexual abuse education. Merryn talks about how many states have already passed "Erin's Law". Also with us in this segment is Democrat Rep. Tom Miles. The bill: Senate version, House version
