Job Hunter
Some of the world’s most advanced manufacturing industries have operations located right here in Mississippi. In MPB’s newest television series, Job Hunter, Mississippians are introduced to the opportunities that exist in the state’s advanced manufacturing industry.
Host Kerri Courtney takes viewers to manufacturers across Mississippi and explores careers at high profile companies in the automotive, aerospace, heavy metal, and polymer industries. She also helps viewers learn where to get the skills they need to be competitive in the advanced manufacturing job market. Kerri visits Mississippi community colleges and universities that have programs for students interested in working in Mississippi’s high tech sector.
Job Hunter is made possible in part by funding from the state of Mississippi and the Mississippi Manufactures Association’s (MMA) Dream It Do It campaign.

Dream It. Do It. Mississippi
Dream It. Do It. Mississippi (DiDi) is sponsored by the Mississippi Manufacturers Association (MMA). The program focuses on creating awareness among students and young adults, and those who influence their career decisions regarding the outstanding opportunities that exist in advanced manufacturing today. The program also provides referral systems for them to pursue their dreams and ambitions. It is designed to help fill skilled local manufacturing job vacancies and to assist in making manufacturing a preferred career option. DiDi is funded by a grant from the Mississippi Department of Employment Security, Governor Haley Barbour, and the U.S. Department of Labor. DiDi is a program of the National Association of Manufacturers Manufacturing Institute.
