Grass Roots

For over 30 years, Bill Ellison has been the voice of Grass Roots on MPB Think Radio, sharing folk, bluegrass, and acoustic music every Saturday at 6 p.m. A musician himself, Bill brings deep musical knowledge and passion for discovery to every show. Grassroots has been recognized with a Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts and a Citation of Merit from the Mississippi Institute of Arts & Letters. He credits listeners for helping shape the program with their insight and recommendations.
