MAET Board of Directors to meet July 8

(Jackson, Miss.) - The Mississippi Authority for Educational Television (MAET) Board of Directors will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. in the Board Room of the Mississippi Public Broadcasting Administration Building, 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, Miss.

The purpose of the MAET Board of Directors Meeting is to conduct business matters concerning Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB). It is open to the public except with the possibility of portions in executive session.

MPB is a state agency that encompasses a network of commercial-free public radio, television, learning and community outreach services designed to empower and enrich the lives of Mississippians through the creative use of technologies to deliver programs and services that educate, entertain and enlighten.

In addition to educational programming and Mississippi-specific productions, MPB provides access to national public television and radio programming.
