A Jackson area High School Senior could win a Heisman trophy this year.....A high school Heisman that is. M-P-B's Jeffrey Hess reports that he is making good choices on and off the field.

Davis Rodgers is one of 12-finalist for a Wendy's High School Heisman, a competition rewarding athletes, scholarship and their schools.

55-thousand students entered the competition.

Rogers, an honor roll student and a standout wide receiver and defensive back for the Jackson Academy Raiders, was surprised by the announcement in front of his friends and classmates at school Wednesday.

Rogers will fly to New York in December when one male and one female finalist, will be named a High School Heisman.
