Tonya Short is the mother of a 7th grader in Cleveland who attend an all-black middle school. She argues that the two middle schools in Cleveland and the two high schools should be consolidated.

Tonya Short, mother of a 7th grader in Cleveland, spoke to MPB's Sandra Knispel yesterday at the federal courthouse in Oxford about desegregating the Cleveland School District. Short testified on behalf of the Department of Justice, arguing that the two high schools and two middle schools in Cleveland should be consolidated.
