These sessions focus on early childhood and K-12 and equip educators with tools, knowledge, and instructional strategies to function more effectively in 21st Century classrooms. February 11, 2012 – "Discover Science with Dinosaur Train" Early Childhood Professional Development Workshop
Have you gotten your ticket? Are you ready to board the Dinosaur Train? Mississippi Public Broadcasting is excited to offer “Discover Science with Dinosaur Train,” an early childhood professional development workshop for preschool teachers, on February 11, 2012, from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon in our MPB auditorium, located at 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS 39211. Receive educational resources and engage in hands-on activities focused on transforming science and nature centers in the classroom and involving children in science discovery beyond the classroom walls. Teachers who attend this workshop will also receive prizes and other incentives leading up to the NatureFest: Calling All Nature Trackers! event at the Museum of Natural Science in April 14, 2012. April 3, 2012 – "It's All About Math" Early Childhood Professional Development Workshop
MPB is offering an early childhood professional development workshop for preschool teachers on April 3, 2012, 6:15 pm-8:15 pm in our Board Room, located at 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, Mississippi 39211.
